About Frontpage section background keeps turning black

    I have just installed hestia and set up the front page sections.
    However my about section background becomes black as soon as I leave the customizer and open the page in a new window.
    Please help.

    Thanks for choosing Hestia!

    Please make sure there is a background image added in Customizer -> Frontpage Sections -> About -> About Background and that the image also appears in Dashboard -> Media -> Library. If the background image that is added in a section doesn’t appear in the Media library, the background of that section will turn black. If the image appears in the Media Library as well, please try to clear the cache as it may be a caching issue. If this doesn’t help, please try to delete that image from the Media Library and then upload it and set it as background image for that section again.

    Hi there,
    Thanks for the reply. I do not want to have a background image.
    Instead I just need a white background.
    How can I go about this?

    Hi @ronemjay,

    Kindly provide a link to your site where we can see your About section for reference.

    If you want to set the background to white, you need to remove the default background.
    From your Customizer > Frontpage Sections > About.
    You should be able to see the About background where you can remove or change the image.
