• I would like the Flickr Title and Description (Caption) to

    • Always be shown, even if either or both are empty
    • Have them placed below the image in the slideshow, NOT obscuring a part of the image

    At the moment I see a black translucent container with the Title, this container is displayed over the image, I would like it to be below the image.

    Neither is possible – the third-party script that is used for slideshows does not support these configurations. The title that you see is a customization added on top of the slideshow script (which does not support titles at all), and putting it below the slideshow messes with the automatic resizing of the slideshow based on the height of the images.

    Also, as a general Photonic rule, combined displays of title and description are not supported due to various reasons. The display of Photonic is consistent across source platforms, and many source platforms don’t have separate placeholders for titles and descriptions (e.g. Google Photos, Instagram etc.). Moreover, many lightbox and slideshow scripts do not support custom HTML in the title display, which makes it difficult to show the title and caption separately.
