[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Lost all galleries after reinstallation

  • So i have a problem on my website where the gallery wasnt working properly so i read to uninstall it and reinstall the plugin. After doing so all of my galleries have now disappeared.

    Weird thing is, that all of the images are still on my website with the url of my old gallery.

    i.e. I had a gallery called frontpage-only and on my main website i still have an image with the url: disordermagazine.com/wp-content/gallery/frontpage-only/onitsukatiger.jpg

    Surely that means that my galleries must still be on my wordpress site somewhere? Where can i find my lost galleries and pics?

    Never mind, although all my galleries were gone, if i added a new gallery (with the same name as a previous gallery), then added an image to the newly created gallery, all my previous pictures would appear (providing the new gallery name is exactly the same as the old gallery name)
