    Hi,

I’m building a website and I have two issues. Plugin and theme incompatibility has already been tested, cache deleted, so it’s something else that causes them.

    1. The motions effects don’t work correctly. When I open the page, the texts either appear correctly or not. Often, when I refresh a page, they just don’t show at all. I have this issue both on laptop and mobile.

    2. I have a few sections with background image that appear correctly on laptop, but it’s impossible to do the settings for mobile. I had to duplicate the section and do the settings so that everything appears correctly, but in my experience, this solution is not the best one, as after some plugin updates, hidden sections might suddenly show. So, I would like to solve this issue.

The problem is that, when I switch to the responsive iditing options, it’s not possible to change the position and size of the background image. And even when it’s possible, when I save and refresh the page, it goes back to the initial settings.

    Any idea?
    Thanks!
    Kriszta

  • Please follow this troubleshooting method that I made: (It’s quite general, but it will tell us something.)

Please make sure that all of your Plug-ins and Theme are updated.
Sometimes it isn’t obvious that there is a plugin update available. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure.
Please also regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard,
then make sure that you are clear:
your WordPress cache (your WordPress plugin if you have one), your server cache (if
you have one. In this case, you can contact your hosting provider).
Please deactivate all your plugins besides Elementor and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.

Thank you, but I had already tried all of these options and the issue persists. If you open the website on mobile, you open any of the pages from the menu, then you refresh the page, you should be able to see that the texts don’t show any more at all. And if you switch to another page and refresh it, you will have the same issue.

Can you please send us some screenshots/screencasts demonstrating the issue?

Sorry, it was probably an update that caused the issue. It seems to work now.

However, the other problem that I mentioned is still there and it’s very annoying. When I switch to mobile view, I can’t edit the position and size of the background image. I had to duplicate every single section that contains background image, which is quite ridiculous (I’ve got the issue with two websites now, not just one).

Now, more than that, the tablet view doesn’t work correctly either, and this one has to be solved urgently. I tried to open the website on an iPad and I only see blurry images.

Duplicating the section and setting the images specifically for tablets doesn’t help in this case, so I had to hide every section for tablet. What should I do?

Oh, and even though I had to to hide everything for tablet, the hidden sections still open on tablet, but with those blurry images. I guess I should modify the breakpoints, but doing so doesn’t change anything.

    Hi,

It is likely that the images are blurry because you have selected a lower image size that is too small compared to the size of the Gallery.

Please update us when you can.
