    Moderator note:

    1. This is not a “requests and feedback” topic. I’ve moved it to “Fixing WordPress”.

    2. Please do not use link shortners (like bit.ly), as they’ve been abused in the past. I’ve expanded your link.

    3. This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time.

Thanks for the help. I used the HealthCheck plugin and I found that the problem is with my theme framework plugin. I am using the rehub theme which requires a rehub framework to work but when I enable the rehub framework plugin the publish option stops working again. Should I change my theme or contact Theme Support?

Contact the support for the framework, because they may have an update in the pipeline.

    Ok, Thanks.

Why do you advise not to use shortened links? Is it specific to this website or is it a safety recommendation for everyone?

re link shortners: People don’t know what they’re getting until they click on it and then it may not be what they expected or, in fact, “evil”. So, we prefer a readable link.

Thank you. But doesn’t the short link itself create vulnerabilities for WordPress?
