    Hey @jgwalter930 !

What happens if you deactivate this add-on? Does the issue persist? If yes, I think you need to post a thread to the WP/LR Sync plugin itself ??

Thanks for the quick response, but I don’t understand?

    I have..

    1. WP/LR Sync Folders with Real Media Library.
    2. Real Media Library.
    3. Photo engine (WP/LR Sync).

When I deactivate #1 & #2, it seems to work, although I keep having a problem with one gallery, which produces the error, but still uploads the images.

    I’m testing some more galleries.

If I need to post to WP/LR, where is that? I don’t see any reference to a forum for it?

    Follow-up on my previous reply……

Right after I posted the reply, the process failed again. I’m beginning to think it is a problem with the host, which is a shared environment.

Additionally, I tested on a different site, which is on a much better, virtual machine, host, and everything worked perfectly.

However, on that installation, the folder structure does not work at all. It shows the added folders, but does not list the contents. And, it won’t allow me to add or change anything manually.

I refer to this repository: https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wplr-sync/

Ok, please let us know what was the issue on your hosting site.

Can you please share a screenshot of your synced folders?

    Thank you for this information.

While, I think you are correct that the ‘Time Out’ issues are WP/LR problems, there also seems to be some issues with your plugins.

First, I am using it on two sites, on two different hosts. One is a ‘shared’ account, the other is a ‘virtual machine’ account. (much faster)

The problem that I am describing is happening on both.

    1. Successful uploads from WP/LR are not populating the folder structure, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to manually do that as I don’t have permissions to edit anything in the folder structure. (I am the only user, and am the administrator)

    2. When I create a new folder in Lightroom, it is created in your folder structure. Images sometimes appear, but sometimes do not.

    3. If I make a spelling error in Lightroom, and correct it, the corrections do not update online. And, there is no way to manually correct.

I am attaching two screen shot links, one showing the media library, the other the Lightroom publishing screen.

    Thanks.

https://snipboard.io/bHqTVi.jpg <— this is the Media Library. Note the image ‘Sidewalk Art Show’. This image was just uploaded as a test. In WP/LR it appeared to work correctly, and the image file is correct here, and the files appear on the server. It should be listed in a 2019 folder on the left, but as you can see, that folder doesn’t even exist.

https://snipboard.io/3Mi5FS.jpg <— this is the same photo in the Lightroom Publisher for WP/LR. As you can see, there are many other folders with images that do not appear in the Media Library folder structure.

https://snipboard.io/w04hfx.jpg <— this is the other site with a similar problem. I’ve been working on this to completely reorganize it, so there is not much here now, but as you can see, some images have populated folders, while another, ‘Yard Art’ did not. My process for this was to completely delete everything in Lightroom, and rebuild the structure from scratch. It has not been very successful, mostly due to the ‘time out’ problems mentioned earlier.

https://snipboard.io/rebca4.jpg <— this is the Lightroom page for that server.

I hope this makes sense. I’ve been using these plugins successfully up to recently. Something somewhere here has gone drastically wrong.

    Hi again!

Thanks for your detailed answer. Unfortunately, it is very hard to reproduce as this add-on is a third-party plugin and was mainly maintained by another person.

There seems to be gone something wrong with the synchronization of WP/LR data to Real Media Library. If you open the WP/LR Plugin settings screen, can you see all synced folders, images and collections (I think they provide a visual tree for this)?
