  • Hi there,

    I am busy with a site for a client, he bought a theme on Envato, and your plugin “WP Events Manager” is repacked and it’s required for the theme.

    As I am Admin I can’t understand why when I click on the plugin to configure I get an error message saying ” Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    Also, when I hover over the plugin in the sidebar in the dashboard I see 3 options in this order:

    1. Settings
    2. Users
    3. Settings

    I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, but the same error occurred.

    Please can you help me resolve this? Thanks in advance.

    Hola, me sucedió lo mismo, también con un tema de Envato.
    Estaba perdido y no encontré nada en internet.

    Pero, se me ocurrió lo siguiente:
    Instalé un tema por defecto de WordPress y lo activé (el 22 creo), cuando hice eso el plugin funcionó, tenía las opciones necesarias. Lo que hice a continuación, sin salir de ese tema activo de WordPress, fue entrar a la lista de eventos y borré todos los eventos, configuré todo correctamente y creé un nuevo evento con mi usuario admin. Luego de hacer eso, volví a mi selector de temas y volví a activar mi tema de envato.

    Para mi sorpresa el problema había desaparecido y ahora puedo usar el plugin correctamente.

    En mi caso, yo había eliminado todos los temas y solo me quedé con el tema de Envato, por eso tuve que instalar un tema por defecto de WordPress nuevamente, si no es tu caso, intenta activarlo, modificar todo y probar nuevamente.

    I deleted all the events manager data using WordPress default theme, switched back to Envato purchased theme (Max Coach in my case) and WP Events Manager worked properly.

    I faced same issues. i tried this, “Activate the twenty one default theme” and checked that plugin, it works fine. switched back to your main theme and see it will work
