Remove Google Fonts

  • Hello Anders,
    I appreciate your Theme very much. I searched a long time for such a clean and wonderful theme. I wonder, if there is a special way to remove the Google Fonts (due to the GDPR). I tried it with several Plugins, but the chrome DevTools show me that there are still connections to gstatic and googlefonts for the fonts.
    Do you have any clue?

    Hi @stefanklein,

    Glad you like it! If you install a translation plugin like Loco Translate and check the strings in the theme, there’s a string described as “Google Fonts: on or off”. Set that to off, and the Google Fonts won’t be enqueued.

    Hi Anders,
    thanks a lot for your fast response.
    But honestly, I don′t get it. I can find this string via Loco Translate but I don′t know how to change it then. Doesn′t i have to edit a php-fle or something like this? I admit I′m not used to that. But that has not to be of your concern. Thank you very much for the hint.
