How to format episode descriptions with HTML

  • Hiya! Having some trouble formatting episode descriptions. Looks nice on my wordpress page editor, and can add in line breaks with html etc, but this all seems to get flattened on my actual RSS feed: https://matttyler.uk/feed/podcast/ , and therefore in my descriptions on spotify, apple etc

    No line breaks seem to appear there, everything in one big ugly paragraph. How can I format episode descriptions in my RSS feed? Thanks.

    Hi there @froggin42,

    Are you using either the classic or block editor from WordPress? I’d imagine the block editor since your theme Neve is compatible.

    The plugin doesn’t required any HTRML to be for line breaks, lists, links, bold, italicized text, etc. I suggest trying to format your show notes without these and see how it looks.
