There are various templates for pages and posts, but how can I identify which one is being used – and how can I apply a different template to the one currently being used (if that’s possible)?
    Thanks in anticipation!

  • Hi there! When you’re in the post or page editor, you’ll notice a “Template” section in the sidebar:

This will show the currently active template, as well as all other options for this specific post or page. You can create a brand new template to use from there too.

Staring me in the face! Thanks! I’ll try to keep my eyes open in future!

In case anyone else is interested in what you can do with Templates (I had no idea they were so flexible) there’s a plugin called Template Manager which enables you to Download, UPLOAD, rename and delete Templates within Twenty Twenty Two.
This is particularly useful for me because I need to copy my Templates over four sites.
