How to overlap Nav and Cover blocks?

  • Using WordPress 5.9 and theme Twenty Twenty-Two, is there a preferred way to overlap a Nav menu and cover block in the Home page Header? If not, any hints about where to focus my reading? start with theme.json, perhaps?

    I want to duplicate this layout. Example of home page layout

    I selected Twenty Twenty-Two theme as my test bed to learn more about how WP 5.9 works.

    Thanks, for the tip. I had looked at your post and wondered whether it could be a starting point. I’ll study your code a bit and then maybe I’ll know enough to ask questions.
