I am often at shows in-person and it’s rough to configure my online inventory every time I return home. I saw the bad reviews on this and thought, “Well it can’t be THAT bad, right?”
No!!! Do not pass Go!!! RETURN TO START!!!

This is the most laughable pass for a sync! I synced it to Square because I need my Woo inventory to update while I am at shows. However, you can’t just “only” sync the inventories – it forces you to also sync the categories, name and description, which jumbled up my online items’ categories, overwrote my lovingly-crafted SEO-minded titles and descriptions.

HONESTLY, if you could ONLY sync the inventories – well, at least it worked there, I’d give it more than one star. But as it stands, there’s no choice and it’ll screw up your online inventory in the process.

    Hi @rasetsukoku,

Thanks for the review, and for highlighting what went wrong in your view.

I understand that it must have been frustrating to have your WooCommerce products data overwritten when you synced with Square.

It’s likely that this happened when you imported products from Square to WooCommerce, leading to the product data on Square being used to overwrite WooCommerce product data.

With the import products function, as of version 2.2.0, all existing products are updated using the latest information pulled from Square, this includes importing new variations, removing variations and importing stock, SKU or product name changes.

Nonetheless, we’d be happy if you reached us to check further on this, either on the forum or through a ticket.

    Thanks.
