I manage more than 150 websites. After every update, the rank math plugin generates sitemap 404 errors, I have to constantly login and save permalink. When are you planning to solve this problem? For the last 2 years, this problem has been constantly present, but there is no solution. I don’t want to do this manually all the time. Come up with a solution now. I’m sure you can solve this with a simple cron etc.. I said enough is enough and found a similar solution. but if you don’t solve it, i’m really tired of dealing with it.
I’m using the pro version for a few sites. because of this problem, I will turn to alternative plugins.

We are unable to produce the issue on our end.

Can you please confirm if you have excluded the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin? The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

If that does not help, then can you please try disabling the cache of RM by adding this filter?

Hello, Thanks.
This issue is not cache related. Yes exluded from cache. Especially after the update, the problem persists until I enter permalinks and save again. I used your plugin many diffrent themes and plugins, same problem. I like your plugin. But this is a big problem for me.
Maybe i explained it wrong. the sitemap does not work at all. So when I type …/sitemap_index.xml I get a 404 error.

Same problem. very recently the sitemap started throwing a 404 error. The page does not exist. Sitemap files augmented by Rank Math are excluded from the application’s caching.

Please use Settings> Permalink It fixes itself when I save without making any changes.
But i dont want this continuosly after every update

We recommend using a 3rd party Sitemap plugin like the following:
