I’m trying to create a web page that has some type of search or drop down which would consist of a list of html files located in a specific directory.

When the user searches for a name that matches or drops down a list it will then display under this “search bar” a static html page of charts within the page. Does a plugin like this exist?

I would say unlikely that there is a plugin that exists like that as it sounds pretty specific.

I did code something like that once where static html files are a parsed and added to a drop down menu, it is beyond beginner coding.

However, that said have to considered simply importing the html into posts / pages / custom post types. Plenty of sophisticated import plugin exist.
