I keep getting error 403, potentially unsafe operation when I try to install plugins by uploading plugin files. These are known plugins like FileBird Pro and NextGen Pro.

No records found in Life Traffic of these incidents.

Note, this is on a staging site.

Hi @midpath, thanks for highlighting and describing your issue.

When a request to a potentially unsafe script or background request is blocked by Wordfence, you should be presented with an, “Add action to allowlist” button where you can manually insert the params to the allowlist based on the request currently being disallowed. This will then appear in Wordfence > All Options > Allowlisted URLs.

Failing this, trying again whilst in Learning Mode could help.

If you’re not seeing a Wordfence-branded blocking page for the 403, the unsafe operation could be based on your WordPress settings instead which can be set to allow/disallow certain file mime types from being uploaded.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
