Post titles were displaying just fine when I installed the plugin this morning. I updated a few minutes ago & now they are not. “Hide post title” setting is unchecked. I checked the setting, updated carousel, unchecked it, and updated carousel again, no change. I also created a new carousel from scratch, same issue. Can you please check?

I would recommend using the rollback plug-in for now to revert. The only change with today’s update was to image carousels. But I will investigate your report tomorrow.

I didn’t realize your other comments were a review of the plug-in.

Ok, thank you for the prompt response & suggestion, and sorry if it is an incorrect association between the update & the missing post titles. Rolling back the plugin does not affect the issue which seems to indicate it might be? However, there were literally no other changes to the site aside from a minor (unrelated) edit to the stylesheet. I saw the update was available, installed it, and after a page refresh the titles are no longer showing. They are not appearing in the markup either. I have no idea.

I did leave a comment as a plugin review until I remembered about the support forum & realized it was a better way to communicate the issue. I saw that you deleted a duplicate something, sorry if that automatically opened another support thread or anything like that, I didn’t realize that it would.

Everything causes me grief these days…

    I’m having the same problem.
After updating from version 1.4.3 to version 1.4.5, the post title does not display.
Images, links and summaries are displayed.
    WordPress is version 5.9.
Please let me know if you have any other information needed to solve the problem.

    Hello.

Sorry about the issues. The update to 1.4 included a lot of code to better comply with WP Coding Standards and security. From this, there were some side effects. Being that I made this plugin to be so flexible with post types and such, I missed a few things. Anyhow, I’ve found this issue, and released an update.

Thanks for pointing this out. @maustin89 if you’re satisfied, perhaps you’d consider updating your review?

I do maintain this free plugin on my own time.

    Thanks,
    Howard

Thank you Howard, that was very quick! I checked and it’s working great again now. I did already update my review yesterday since it wasn’t the right place for a bug report, and was unfairly commenting on a single transient issue & not reflective of what is a quite nice plugin overall. I will update it again now to reflect the promptness with which you were able to address this small issue.

By the way, I enjoyed looking at your website – it has a nice aesthetic, very colorful & lots of fun imagery. Regards & take care.

@maustin89 thank you so much. My company website is a little dated, but thanks. I guess it’s a good thing to be too busy on other people’s projects to worry about your own site. My personal site is https://howardehrenberg.com it has a little more about my non web projects.

    Cheers.

Please put my review of this plugin back @jdembowski, clearly you did not even bother to read it.
