“Backup Now” Freezes With Message “Next Resumption: 1”

    Hi,

    I try using the “backup now” function.

    But everytime I initiate the command, the backup freezes a quarter of the way and the message below reads:

    “next resumption: 1 (after – xxxxs)”

    I also found the last message on the log file to read:

    “possibly approaching split limit”

    How can I fix this?

    Hi,

    Please could you also send us a copy of the backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

    Apologies, we’ve recently released new versions of the plugin. Have you already updated? If yes and still get the same issue, can you send us again a new log?

    Thanks for the response.

    I’ve got the latest Updraft as far as I’m aware (version 1.22.8).

    Still no luck. Automatic daily backups still aren’t happening and the manual back up freezes half way.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    Can you update to version 1.22.11? Also reduce the archive split size to 25mb. This can be found under UpdraftPlus “Settings” tab > Show expert settings.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply. I have been away from this project for a while. This issue has not been resolved.

    I’ve updated to the latest version and split the archive to 25mb.

    The backup initiates but does not complete.

    Please could you offer any other advice?
