Could using Autoptimize on a main site as well as a subdirectory site

for example abcdefsite.com and abcdefsite.com/blog create conflicts?

No, that should work just fine. What problems are you facing?

I can add that I work on a site like this and have not seen any issues so far.

This is now a recurring issue. I am unable to edit my posts properly When I try to edit posts this is what I see https://postimg.cc/F7Gt13T3 or I just see a blank screen. In order to temporarily fix the issue (for about a week), I deactivate all the installed plugins, then restore the website files from a cloud backup, and then reactivated all the plugins. I have already tried to identify if 1 plugin is the culprit and also temporarily deactvated my StackPath CDN as well. I use Autoptimize, WP Super Cache, a3 Lazy Load, Smush, Really Simple SSL, and Redirection on this site as well as the main site.

well, autoptimize does not optimize wp-admin wphyp, so I don’t see how it could be involved here.

I understand. I am just wondering if there has ever been a reported conflict with Autoptimize & WP Super Cache?

no, nothing comes to mind. i’ve used them together for years actually, it was my go-to page caching plugin until I migrated to another host.

Thank you. Which cache plugin and CDN do you currently use?

    (@optimizingmatters)

my host has page caching built-in, so not using a separate page caching plugin. re. CDN; just shortpixel for the images.

FYI. I currently use WP Super Cache with Autoptimize and it works fine for me. But I’m not using a CDN at the moment.

    Thank you Optimizing Matters.

Thank you kratosgemini. How are your Core Web Vitals whithout a CDN?

@wphyp Not bad, but could be better. Lighthouse gives a performance score of 89 for mobile. A CDN is definitely something I want to do in the not too distant future when I can free up some time to look into it.

96m/ 100d. CDN’s can most certainly help performance, but they seldom are a magic bullet to improve the CWV’s.

    Thank you both.
