    I am on a Siteground site and recently installed and set up SG Optimizer. I think I have set up everything properly, however, I have never been able to get the “Test URL Caching Status” to indicate my pages are cached. I have Dynamic Caching, File-Based Caching and Memcached selected ON. I don’t have Cloudflare Full Page Caching set yet.

    URL: https://www.blackjackreview.com/wp/

    I also use Cloudflare and I have tested this with and without Cloudflare.
    I used to use autoptimizer which I have removed.
    Also, I have tested this on a staging site and removed ALL plugins except SG Optimizer with NO Cloudflare. I still got the “URL is not cached” message on the staging site.

    I have seen an improvement in global speed using fastorslow.com so I think everything is working properly. ??? Can someone verify this is a SG Optimizer bug or is there something I am doing wrong.

    Testing my headers I get:

    Hello @bjrnet21,

    According to the provided headers, your WordPress site is properly cached by our plugin:

    x-proxy-cache => HIT
    sg-f-cache => HIT

    The Test URL Caching Status functionality within the plugin should also show the same result. Note that you may need to click on the test button more than once in order to see the correct result. Activating the CloudFlare Full Page caching option should not affect the testing result.

    Please note that the Dynamic cache is disabled by default on our Staging service so it is normal for the test result to show “not cached”.

    Thank you for your feedback and insight.

    When I don’t enter anything in the “Test URL Caching Status” field and just press “TEST” I get “SUCCESS The URL is cached”.

    But when I enter my URL https://www.blackjackreview.com/wp/ I get the fail error.

    I have pressed that TEST button dozens of times with the same fail result. I have never seem a SUCCESS status when I enter my URL.

    Your site URL is actually already presented in the testing tool and there is no need to enter it manually. The empty field is there for testing some of your pages or posts.

    For example, in order to test if the following page is cached:
    https://www.blackjackreview.com/wp/historical-events/

    you should only enter this part of the URL:
    historical-events/

    Ahhhhhh !!!!!

    OK, that’s great. A bit confusing though.

    Suggest you add a note to explain this.

    Thanks much!
