  • Hi @foodopi,

Thanks for using our Kale theme!

Since the “My Account” and “Cart” pages aren’t social media links, these can’t really be included in the social menu. If you instead create a separate menu with these two items, you can add the new menu to the same widget location and it should do the trick.

If you need anything else, just let us know!

Thanks, I have removed the links in the social menu section and created a new menu as suggested, but I am lost in assigning the location for the menu. Could you suggest to me how do I go about it ? Thanks.

Sure thing! After you’ve created and saved your new menu, you can go to Appearance > Widgets or Appearance > Customize > Widgets, add it to either of the header widget areas. It looks like your Header – Left widget area is already pretty full, so Header – Right may be the best location.

Here’s a little more info with screenshots:

I am getting errors in the widget area, I am trying to attach the screen I am not able to. How do we attach the screenshot for the same ? I do not find any way to attach the screenshot…….please help !

These forums don’t have an upload feature, but you can include a link here to a screenshot that you’ve uploaded to your own site, or to a screenshot sharing site like Snipboard.

I have attached the screenshot through shipboard as suggested.

Please do let me know what can be done, thanks for the help.

Thanks- very helpful! Would you mind copying + pasting here the contents of your dev tools console? Here’s a little more info if you’re not familiar with it:

It looks like the forum stripped the hash from my link, but it’s step #3 on that page, under “Diagnose”.

I am facing the same issue on edge also I am trying to copy-paste the same here.I am not able

Thanks so much- really appreciate you going to that trouble.

Could you test one other thing for me? Could you install the Classic Widgets plugin and see if that does the trick? This isn’t something that is typically necessary with the Kale theme, but it may be coming into play from another angle.

If that doesn’t solve the problem, feel free to create a temporary admin account for us at support (at) lyrathemes.com, and we’d be happy to login briefly and track down the issue for you.

    Thanks again!

Sure No problem at all, thanks for all the support.

I have tried as per your suggestion the classic widgets suggestion works just fine. The only thing is that in the left header I can keep any one of the menus either the social menu or the woocommerce menu.

How do I solve this issue ? ??

    Thanks and Regards,

Good to hear about the classic widgets- thanks!

If you’re wanting to place these links in the left instead of right header area, would it work to add the links to your existing menu in the left location instead of adding a second menu? Typically though it should be possible to add a second menu in the same widget location…they would stack, although it might take up more space than you can afford there.

If I completely misunderstood what you’re looking for just let me know! ??

I am looking at adding the menu on the right-hand side of the header under the social icons menu. I have attached the screenshot with the marking where I am suggesting placing the menu. Thanks for all your help.

    Nice…that should work perfectly.

You can add it in there by going to Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Header – Right, just add the new menu widget beneath the existing widget you have there. I’ve just double checked this and it works out nicely this way.

I tried doing it as suggested, the menu appears next to it, if I change the order I mean shuffle it up and down, the order of the widgets changes i.e nothing changes only they change the order of appearance horizontally. Have attached the SS for your reference, Just trying to see If I have understood correctly.
