I love this plugin, however, whenever I use the BOGO option to apply a percentage-based discount it doesn’t work. The percentage value only reads in dollar amounts (although the percentage discount option is available) and it increases the cost of the product instead of decreasing it. I have watched several videos on how to use this plugin but the percentage-based value does not work with my site.

    For example:

    Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off

When the deal is applied the 50% off is read as $50.00 which increases the overall cost of the products in the cart. This has caused me to lose several potential customers.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @dakidfice87 thanks for the message.

It sounds like you might have selected a different discount type on the BOGO interface? Or maybe you’re using a Percentage based coupon type?

The Discount Type in the drop down on the General tab should be set to Buy X Get X (BOGO)… if you don’t see this option it means you aren’t on the latest version.

Once your coupon is on BOGO type, you should select “Percentage” discount on the BOGO “Get” type so that it applies as a percentage. Based on your description it sounds like its on “Override Price”:

If you can send me a screenshot of your BOGO that would be great, I can help you narrow down the problem from there.

I appreciate the response. However, this doesn’t appear to be a case of selecting the wrong discount type in the drop-down menu on the general tab. This problem occurs regardless of what discount type I use. Each time I add a value it increases the overall cost of the products. I attached a few screenshots.

Hi @dakidfice87 thanks for the ticket, we’ll continue on there.

I just wanted to let anyone else reading this know, if you downgrade your Free plugin version, it should resolve this issue. We’re working hard to patch this on both Free and Premium this week.

@jkohlbach By downgrade to you mean roll back the update to version 3.1.2?
