problem accessing admin and public site

  • I have a problem. I was editting the CSS code for my blog and all of a sudden when I hit “update” both my admin page and the blog itself turned out to be blank (on Firefox) and an error (on Internet Explorer)

    ceciliayong.com just turns out blank!

    HELP please!!

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder using FTP (or use whatever file management application your host provides)

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    But I have problems opening my wp admin page. Its impossible tow switch the the theme back to default.

    That’s why you need to use your FTP client to do it.. Find your active theme in wp-content/themes and either delete or rename the directory. That will switch you back to default automatically.
