• i recently downloaded a new theme and i would like to change the colors of it. i want to change the menu bar to all black [i want it flat] and i need to make it to where in the blog post the pictures show. right now the theme is set to where when u make a post it only shows the first paragraph and if theres a pic it wont show it unless u click the read more link. i want my post to just be normal post so how do i change that.

  • It might be easier if you just asked one question at a time.

    You have 2 options:

    1. Edit the index.php template file in your theme and replace the_excerpt() with the_content(). Then edit each post and insert the <!–more–> tag where you want your posts’ excerpts/teasers to finish.

    2. Write a custom excerpt in the Excerpt field, under the post edit box. It can be as short, or as long, as you wish and can include images.
