• Hello,
We received the following email from Contact Contact:

Action needed: Your application needs to be updated.

To improve security for our customers, Constant Contact has started using a new, enterprise-grade authorization management service and will be ending support for the previous service on March 31, 2022. With this change any application or integration using Constant Contact’s V3 API will need to be updated or recreated.

Will there be an update on the plugin to support this change? If so, when can we expect that?

    Hi @hireawiz

We’re definitely working on this to help make sure the plugin continues to work with this deprecation and evolution of our services. Thank you for checking in, and keep an eye on available plugin updates.

Is there an update on this? The plugin has not been updated in 6 months and when I was chatting with a ConstantContact rep today, they kept telling me I had to connect with WordPress for help with this.

Nothing new that I can report at the exact moment.

    Per ConstantContact on Twitter:

I checked with our API team. Our official WordPress plugin uses an older version the API that won’t be impacted by the authorization update to our v3 version of the API. It will eventually be updated to the latest version, but is not at risk of breaking in the meantime. ^KR
