We’re managing a site that sells lumber in California. Some of the products require a 2% lumber tax to be collected. We have it all set up and working as we’d like it to, but it shows one total tax rate (state/city and lumber tax) as one total and the site owner wants to show the state/city and lumber taxes as separate lines. Is there a function we can add to change the display in the cart, receipt and order emails to separate those lines? I’m assuming they’re saved in the database as separate values because the admin sales tax reporting shows them as separate totals.

    Hi @dsawyers,

Can you check if the tax totals are set to “Itemized” in WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax options?

This determines if multiple taxes get displayed as one total, or as an itemized list of taxes.

    Best regards.

LOL. Thank you so much. I’ve never had a site that collected more than one tax and it never even occurred to me to look for that setting. Thank you!

    Hi @dsawyers,

Of course, you’re most welcome. I’m glad @rainfallnixfig could help point you to a setting that can quickly do what you’re needing on this site.

Let us know if you’ve any further questions. Thanks!
