How to target & style placeholder text

  • Hi,

    Having the toughest time properly targetting the placeholder text for simple email and form fields in a subscribe form.

    I’ve tried every which way and nothing works.

    The last option I tried was this:

    input#mailerlite-1-field-email ::-webkit-input-placeholder {

    color: red;
    `}
