Read-only mode for certain user roles

    Hello. Is it possible to have a chat room without the ability to reply to messages? My use case is to have an editor or admin role post announcements and updates on a chat box on a member’s page. But then have that the subscribers cannot reply to the messages.

    Yes, you can set who can reply in chat room settings.

    That’s great. How did I miss that haha.

    On a bit of a side note, is there a way to force join all subscriber roles to a group chat. That way we can send a message out to all of them, even if they haven’t visited the page since adding the chat box?
