• Hi, I really like this plugin but there has been some issues recently. I am on the most recent version of the plugin (4.1.7).

    1. The price on the checkout page and email is wrong. I don’t use any invoice plugin. I just did a test order and it said the price is $44.71 next to the product, but the subtotal is $45.79. The subtotal is correct and it looks like it charged the correct amount, but I don’t know where this $44.71 price came from. This happened on real orders as well.

    2. Sometimes it doesn’t add components to the order making the price and shipping wrong. The component names are listed under the composite, but the price for the components are not added and it doesn’t consider them for shipping. These components are also not on the order page in admin. This is a really big issue that has happened a few times now.

Please help me with these issues. Thanks!

    Hi @kaylag423 ,

Please help me first update our plugin to the version 4.1.8 we have just released. Then clear caches and cookies from your site and browser before checking again.
    1. The issues with pricing might be triggered by a conflict with something on your site. It might be the theme, template or the cart plugin.

You can kindly check by deactivating all other plugin, only keep the WooCommerce and our plugin only. Then try to place an order. If the issue was there, then it must be with the theme.

    2. We have received many reports of this kind as well. Most were found to be triggered by a conflict with external elements.

You can check our live demo here https://demo.wpclever.net/wooco/ to be sure that these pricing issues won’t happen as we only use our WPCStore theme and our plugins.

For issues of this kind, if you own a Premium license from us, you can kindly contact our Support Forum at wpc.ticksy.com. We will need to verify your license and access the admin area to help you find the source of issues and fix it.

    Best regards.

Thanks @janilyn409 for your reply. I don’t have a Premium license. I did update the plugin to the new version and disabled the plugins that are not critical. The price issue was still there. I noticed that when the base composite is ordered with no components, the price is correct. It’s only when someone orders components with the composite that the price is wrong on the order confirmation page and on the email. It is always correct in the cart and checkout.
My theme is Prophoto 7. I have been using your plugin for a couple years now with this theme and I only saw this issue recently, so I don’t think it would be the cause.

For the issue with the components not being added to orders, this only happens sometimes so it’s hard to test this. I did notice that there was a critical uncaught error logged on Woocommerce from the Facebook for WordPress plugin for both days that there was an issue with someone’s order this month. I deleted the plugin. Could this type of error have caused the issue?
This was the error: CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_id() on null in /home/customer/www/365milechallenge.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/integration/FacebookWordpressWooCommerce.php:346

@janilyn409 I updated the plugin and cleared caches/cookies, but the price issue is still there. I’m at a loss on what is causing this issue.

@janilyn409 I changed my theme to Twenty Twenty-Two on my staging site and the price issue is still there, so it is not my theme causing the issue.

    Hi @kaylag423 ,

I have a doubt that your issue was caused by the incompatibility with the Facebook Pixel plugin rather than from within our plugin.

If you would like to do a test to know whether or not this was caused by our plugin, you can kindly switch off all other plugins, only keep WooCommerce and our plugin activated then check the pricing again.

I have tested this several times on our test site to be sure this is not something that comes from within our plugin.

You can also do a test on your own on our live demo here to be sure: https://demo.wpclever.net/wooco/

If you deactivate the Facebook Pixel plugin and the problem disappears, then it is the cause. In our incompatibility list, we have received some reports about issues between this plugin and ours. Unfortunately, our developers haven’t found any solution to fix this.

    Best regards.
