Is the Weglot Javascript object available by having the WP Plugin activated alone?

Or if I would like to use it, I would need to add it my own?

I’m curious because right now we have the WP Plugin activated and display the language selector. Now I’d like to interact with it plainly from Browser-side Javascript and found those docs:

    https://developers.weglot.com/javascript/javascript

I just tried in the Browser console but there is no Weglot object available.

Then I searched a bit the Weglot Plugin sources from an SVN checkout and I get more and more the impression it is done differently – at least for the FE language selector.

So now I can go on integrating with it directly (DOM + JS) but thought before that it’s probably good to know if I was just hunting ghosts or the WP Plugin indeed ships with the Javascript API Weglot object already.

    Hi @hakre ,

thanks for your question. You’re right the weglot js integration and weglot wordpress integration are separate so you don’t have access to the weglot js object into our wordpress weglot.

    Don’t hesitate I can help you ??
    Regards
