May I suggest a user activity plugin i.e. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-history/ – this should reveal any odd uploading activities.

I am already using simple history; As I mentioned in my query above, I found out it from simple history that those images were uploaded by a user who has role of “Customer”. Pls see my screenshot also.

By default, WooCommerce doesn’t allow customers to upload images. As I can’t replicate this in a fresh WooCommerce installation, I believe the issue is coming specifically for your site.

By any chance, are you allowing users to upload images via a contact form or addon plugin?

I’d suggest creating a staging site, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, switching theme to Storefront, and test to see if you can reproduce the issue in that environment.

Your hosting company may offer staging functionality. If they don’t, you can use a plugin called?WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
