• I am working on a site for a nonprofit I work for. I added a new page with just a button and some paragraphs, and even though this page is not set up to be my front page and not added to my menu (it links to the page through a button on another page), when I went to the site, it opens not to my home page but to the new page I created. I changed the new page to a draft, and it went back to normal. How do I fix this when everything seems to be working the way it is supposed to on the surface?

  • You can set them on the desktop using Setting->Reading. You will find two boxes one says home page and the other says post page. Set your front page on the top box and the page you want to use to display your post on the posting page.

    Hi there!

So I don’t have any posts, just pages. I have my home page set as the page that I want, but as soon as I add a new page, it removes itself as my home page. In the menu, everything looks fine, the home page is still listed as my front page. But in the body of the page, it brings up the new page that I just published.

You would have to create a page and style it to your liking then assign it as your front page.

You can customize Google Chrome to open any page for the site homepage or startup page. These two pages aren’t the same unless you set them to be.
Your startup page is the one that shows when you first launch Chrome on your device.
Your homepage is the one you go to when you click Home Home.
If your startup page, homepage, or search engine has suddenly changed, then you may have unwanted software. Learn how to find and remove malware from your device, and get your settings back.
You can tell Chrome to open to any webpage.
    On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
Under “On startup,” select Open a specific page or set of pages.
Click Add a new page. Enter the web address and click Add.
    Click Use current pages.
To update your pages, to the right of a page, click More More and then Edit or Dele
