• If I include images in a gallery on a post and define a custom URL for each image, that works great (as expected).

However, if I then add any of those same images to any other post/page (i.e. not as part of a gallery, but simply adding from the image from the media library into a post), then the images will always be wrapped in <a> tags with an href pointing to the post/page the image is placed on, even if the image on the post is specified to link to “none”.

Is there a way for the image to not be wrapped in <a> tags when image is used outside of a gallery and the image link is set to “none”? Otherwise, the image is always a link/hotspot when outside of a gallery.

    Thank you in advance.
