changing from directory to subdomain error

Hi,

I am currently using the directory url mod setting. I would like to change it to the subdomain.

the subdomains are pointed to the same directory as the main language site now, however i am getting this error for all of my language subdomains:

Polylang was unable to access the https://cn.trycancan.com/?deactivate-polylang=1 URL. Please check that the URL is valid.
Polylang was unable to access the https://en.trycancan.com/?deactivate-polylang=1 URL. Please check that the URL is valid.
Polylang was unable to access the https://zh.trycancan.com/?deactivate-polylang=1 URL. Please check that the URL is valid.

am i missing something in the setting?
