Current month calendar not displaying if there are no events

    Hi,

    I have The Events Calendar installed on two websites using Oxygen Builder and it happens that when there is no event in the month, the calendar (month view set as default) doesn’t display.
    It only shows the message “There are no upcoming events.” and the latest past events.

    Is there a way to show the calendar even when there are no events?

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Out of the box, we do not have this option/feature — we do not have a workaround for it as of the moment, since it needs further customization.

    I’d suggest you submit this as a feature request in this URL here, https://evnt.is/ideas. Another user submitted almost the same idea, but it is for categories.

    Hi Abz,

    Thanks for the clarification. I’ll submit the feature requested as suggested then.

    May I just ask the reason for not displaying the calendar during the current month when there are no events, while previous and following months have the calendar displayed normally even with no events?

    Just trying to understand the logic and application cases.

    Hi Rafael,

    Good to know, we would appreciate it and this would help us keep track of these ideas.

    Out of the box, that’s the default behavior. If you would like to see current and upcoming events, I’d recommend switching the default view to list.
