Help with PageSpeed or GTmetrix scores

    Hi
    I need some help with
    PageSpeed Mobile
    GTMetrix
    under Avoid an excessive DOM size for both mobile and desktop reports it is displaying:

    Maximum Child Elements
    Select LanguageAfrikaansAlbanianAmharicArabicArmenianAzerbaijaniBasqueBelarusia…
    <select class=”goog-te-combo” aria-label=”Language Translate Widget”>

    I am currently using w3 total cache plugin. Is there any fix/instructions to reduce this?
    Also will an old post mentioned here rectify this problem:
    Ouch! Slows Down Website
    Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

    Hi,

    The element contents all the supported languages by Google.

    I would estimate it to slow down your website not more than a microsecond, so it is safe to ignore it. There is a price to pay when you add something on your website, but this is not something which may slow your website down.

    If you want the warning to be gone from GTmetrix you will need our paid version, as it does not depend on javascript and will not have such element.
