Hello MS team! I use the MS LMS premium theme, but my support period has expired. I would like to inform you that after the 2.7.8 update I had problems on my client’s website, as we only work with closed courses (manual registration of students through the admin panel), and after this update (2.7.8) all students were blocked from accessing their classes on the platform.

A message appears that their period has expired and there is no option in the admin to resolve this. The only solution I found was to roll back the LMS plugin to version 2.7.6, and that momentarily solved the problem. Now I can’t update anymore, because that error will come back on the site.

And now that I got the version back to 2.7.6, another problem happened, a student on the site complained that she was trying to use the site’s ‘lost my password’ and it didn’t work, and I really tried and there is a bug on the password reset page. I checked this forum and another Brazilian user had the same problem +- a year ago. I don’t know if this has already been resolved, and in which version.

The big problem is that I can’t even update the system anymore because I will have problems with users who were manually registered in the courses. I need support as it is an essential issue for the functioning of the LMS platform.

I hope you can help with this, I look forward to hearing from the team. Thank you very much.

I found out what was causing the problem with the password reset page, it was related to a CSS I had changed. Now this is working.

However, the problem when updating the plugin to version equal to or greater than 2.7.8 still remains. A ‘closed course’ has access blocked to students who were manually enrolled in it by the admin, it appears to them that the access time has expired.

I would be very grateful if you could take a look at this.

    Hello @gabukabr

    Thank you for reaching out!

Now you are using the theme version 4.4.5. The latest version of the Masterstudy LMS (v2.7.8) plugin requires the latest version of the theme (v4.4.7) to work compatibly.

You need to update the theme Masterstudy LMS Pro plugins to avoid unexpected problems. After that recheck the problem by disabling a child theme temporarily.

    Kind regards
