I signed up for Mailchimp and I need to add a “first name” field to my optin form using your plugin.

It says that I need to add the field to my list in Mailchimp before I can add it to my website form. Then it says that it will show me the links to get to the right page, but it doesn’t show any links.

I have went to every possible section of my Mailchimp account I can think of and created a “first name” field. Then I clicked the button in your plugin to “renew Mailchimp lists” but it still won’t let me add the “first name” field.

Why do I have to jump through all of these hoops? Why don’t you just let me add a first name field to my form if that’s what I want to do?

Please tell me how to add the “first name” field to my form.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

My apologies, I had not selected a list in your settings tab so it wasn’t importing the list settings. I have now fixed it.

However, the form doesn’t align properly on mobile devices. Now that I have two fields, on mobile screens the two fields don’t align overtop of each other so the top field is off to the side.

This looks unprofessional and I can’t use it like this. How can I line up the two fields so the top field is directly overtop of the bottom field?

    Thank you

I solved this on my own as well. I was messing up the alignment because of some “center” tags I had placed in their when the form only had one field.

    My apologies for bothering you.

    Hey @thesadshow,

Thanks for the update. I’m glad you were able to figure out the solution on your own :).
