Buddypress – clear cache when new user registers

– the second one is the homepage, a public page = when a new user registers, i have to clear the cache to make the icon appear.

It is possible to purge the cache of homepage if a user registers and if he will be redirected to homepage, but if he requests the non cached homepage after this request the homepage is automatically cached again. Therefore any other user will see this cached page. To purge the cache is not the solution you want. The easiest way would be to disable cache for homepage, but there are other solutions possible.

I’m not sure to understand all what you mean.

My situation :

The goal of my homepage is to display visitors (who are not registered) that there are already users who have created their accounts.

For users who are already registered, they won’t go on the homepage anymore. When they go on the website, they are automatically linked to the logged in allowed pages.

So, which solution do you think I should take ?

Okay, I don’t know if it helps if cache of homepage will be purged after registering, but we can give it a try. Please tell me, do registered users get cached pages or is cache disabled for registered users?

Okay, cache for logged-in users is enabled, but cache is private. Good conditions for your action. ?? Be patient, I have to check something.

Add this to your .htaccess, but use cache plugin .htaccess editor. If done, verify it. To do that you must register and if you request homepage, cache header should be “miss”.
