    I have the “Lazy Load Images” option selected in the W3 Total Cache plugin, yet when I test my webpage in Google’s Pagespeed Insights, I’m still receiving the “Defer Offscreen Images” warning for both mobile and desktop (but much worse on mobile).

    Why would I be receiving this warning even after enabling lazy loading on my site?

    Thanks!

    Hello @pipedream15

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
    I’ve checked the website and I can see that the LazyLoad is enabled, however, I am also seeing the b-loaded class which indicates that you are using another solution to Lazyload images besides W3 Total Cache most likely Blazy.
    <img class="aligncenter wp-image-657 size-large b-loaded" title="Creative Commons &quot;Kathy and Kevin&quot; by Rona Proudfoot is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0" alt="" width="1024" height="691" srcset="https://www.americanpaddler.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Intex-Challenger-K1.jpg 1024w, https://www.americanpaddler.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Intex-Challenger-K1-300x202.jpg 300w, https://www.americanpaddler.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Intex-Challenger-K1-768x518.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" src="https://www.americanpaddler.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Intex-Challenger-K1-1024x691.jpg">
    This can cause conflict, and also some images that are loading on your website and coming from external websites (servers like wms-na.amazon-adsystem.com) may not be processed by Lazyloading.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Marko!

    I appreciate your reply. How would I check for Blazy on my site? I assume it’s not a plugin (or if it is, I don’t have it installed).

    Actually, I think I just found it! It was part of my theme settings I hadn’t noticed before. Many thanks again!

    Hello @pipedream15

    You are most welcome!
    You can try and diable that theme setting and only use W3 Total Cache Lazy loading feature to avoid any conflict.
    I hope this helps!
    Thanks!
