create a custom new topic button in a specific page

    Hello,

    I am running a buddypress web site. I also have installed a bbpress forum.

    I would like to add a custom “create new topic” button instead of the “what’s new” text box ( https://tinyurl.com/y7lwlf95 ).

    I can hide the “what’s new” text box with css / display=none.

    But, i am not able to generate a button instead of it and to customize it.

    Can we do that with bbp style pack plugin ?

    hmm, suspect you are in buddypress at that stage – sorry, I have not looked at buddypress in any detail.

    It would probably be a hook in the template.
