    Hello everyone,
I am using the free version of the “Product Feed Pro” plugin. Is there any way to tell Google that a product is available even if it is not? I have some products in stock and others at 0, but I can have them in 2 days max. So I would like to display them in Google Shopping.
Thank you in advance for your information.
    Olivier

  • Hi Olivier,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Yes you can do so by giving those products the value “backorder” in the availability field, see: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324448?hl=en
So just make sure those products have the status “on backorder” on your WooCommerce product edit pages.

When you do so you are required to also add the availability date to your feed, see: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324470. You can add a field mapping for the availability date on the field mapping section of our plugin, the difficult part though is that you need to map it to an attribute that dynamically holds the availability date for your products. Our plugin is not capable of automatically using todays date+2 days unfortunately.

    Hope this answers your questions?

Thanks a lot for your quick answer.

And with your premium plugin is it possible to make it ?

In fact I don’t want to manipulate in woocommerce my stock because I need to know what global amount I have, and display a different message on product page if I can deliver in 2 days or in 4 days. And it’s linked with stock…

    Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately not, the free nor the paid version of our plugin has such a feature.

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our assistance is no longer required I will close this topic for now for housekeeping reasons.

Do not hesitate to reach out to us again when you need our support.
