• Has anyone had any problems with Domain.com hosting? I am having two separate problems (one with uploading images and one with permalinks) and most of the threads that have the same problems as me eventually get it resolved by working with their hosting company. So far, I have been given very little help, and have even had them tell me they aren’t sure why it’s not working.

I am hoping that someone else with similar problems and Domain.com hosting eventually found a solution.

Overall, sorry for the vague post at this time. Unfortunately, searching the forum for “Domain.com” yields a huge amount of results where they are using it as a URL example and not actually referring to the hosting company.

    Lightfoot,
Where you able to get this issue resolved with domain.com? I am having problems myself. The customer service is no existent.

well it’s sort of ambiguous what problems you are having at domain.com
    can you give some details?

Ok sorry. I am having an image upload problem on my wordpress install. there are plenty of issues other than that. NexGallery is not properly uploading files. And some plugins are activating and some are causing errors.

On the nexGen and media uploader issue the only thing that works is chmod 777. That solves the problem but creates a security. I am about to give up on Domain.com and go to another hosting service

well – I think you have it figured out
ask domain.com to get things working with better permissions or change hosts
