When visitors fill out a form and clicks submit, the form takes 15 or more seconds to fully submit/process and show the “success” message. We are using Contact Form 7 and smtp is through Office 365 (via Godaddy).

The forms are working, they are just very slow to fully submit so we are getting a ton of duplicate emails because people are clicking the submit button multiple times thinking the form isn’t working/being submitted.

When turning off the smtp plugin, forms submit very quickly. I don’t think this is an issue with the plugin, but something related to the smtp provider. Not sure how to troubleshoot or fix this.

Is there any possible solutions or ideas on how to fix this issue? Appreciate any help. Thanks

We tested this issue on our staging websites and POST SMTP is working fine with contact form 7 also tested your website form, sometimes it takes 3 – 4 seconds to submit, and sometimes it takes 10 – 12 seconds to submit.

It seems like the theme or some other plugin is conflicting with the Our plugin Can you change the theme to WordPress default 2022 or deactivate the plugins one by one and check if the issue still persists or not.

    Thanks
