• Every time I set up a scheduled post I get a “missed schedule” notice. I thought this had been fixed in version 3.0. Does anyone know the best workaround for this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Same problem here.
I tried deactivating all my plugins, and I get missed schedule. I also tried switching to the default plugin, but still I get missed schedule.
I also tried changing permission to files, but it didn’t work… and my host told me that I have to ask on WP forums.
I also tried every possible solution offered on wp forums, but nothing works. Is there something I am missing?

I am also having the problem, although I haven’t tried deactivating all my plugins yet. I just upgraded to 3.0 a few days ago, and I checked the forum for my theme but there has yet to be a complaint posted to the theme creator for this problem. My theme is pretty complicated — I’m concerned for how much work might be involved reactivating it should I try switching to the default theme. Is that a valid concern?

I am also having the same problem as described above. While this seems like a silly question…I need to ask it anyway. How do I force the post? I can’t seem to “unschedule” the post. I can only change the status to draft, pending review or scheduled. None of these let’s me publish now.

    Thanks.

same problem here. no plugins, default theme. just simply not posting at scheduled time…

if i navigate to wp-cron.php i get the following php notices:

Notice: Undefined index: path in ..(hidden)../wp-includes/functions.php on line 1200

Notice: Undefined index: path in ..(hidden)../wp-includes/functions.php on line 1200

    Hi guys,

i have some weird and slightly different problem with scheduled posts.

I have, for example, 40 scheduled posts. Everything is happy, when suddenly all of my scheduled posts become published with future dates and they are visible in the frontend!

Have you ever experienced or found any reference about something like this?

    @christoschiotis

This just happened to me… a future scheduled post has been made visible/live. I’m unsure what the problem is… I’ve only read stuff about scheduling issues on a 2.9 update about cron jobs.

Would the updates here for 2.9 work for 3.0? Compatible?
