I am fairly new at this but searching through threads here and google revealed no help. So maybe someone can help me with this.
I believe it was in one of the settings while I was going through the wizard, but I can’t locate it for the life of me.
When I go to my cart, how do I disable the email validation that disables the “proceed to checkout button”?

  • Hey there!

The WooCoommerce core plugin doesn’t feature an e-mail validation requirement on the cart page.

You’ll want to look for it on your plugins’ options. Otherwise, it might be a cart template included in your theme.

If you can’t find it under plugins/theme settings, you can perform this test:

    * Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    * Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce

If you don’t see the e-mail field after completing the conflict test, then you know this was coming from the plugins or the theme that you deactivated.
Next, reactivate the theme and plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
You can find a more detailed explanation of this test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
