New Customer (with purchase) account creation not found

Hello,
When new customers sign up and make a purchase they are able to create a username password (of their choice) at checkout. I did a test purchase and when the purchase is complete and the email with the ‘Your ‘website name’ account has been created!’ is received a link to the website login page is attached. But when clicking on the link to login with the same credentials that were just created does not work and it says
Error: The password you entered for the username (username) is incorrect. Lost your password?
It is as if it was never created but it shows up under the ‘Users’ on the backend.

Does this happen for all customers that register a username and password on your checkout page? Are you sure that the credentials are the same as those entered at checkout?
Please share a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Can you also share a screenshot of your “Accounts & Privacy” settings as found in WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy?

Yes it does happen for all customers that register a username and password on your checkout page. I created about test accounts (with 3 of my personal emails).

I’ve tested with the same settings and I can’t reproduce the issue you’re describing. It looks like this could be likely caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
