‘optional’ text missing in VAT textfield label

The checkout fields that are optional have a (optional) text in the labels.
That’s the case for the “Company name” label for example.
Somehow that text is not showing for the “VAT Number”.
Is that something you could fix?
note that the Aelia vat plugin is showing the optional text correctly.

While I’m here, do you have a code snippet remove the “VAT Number” placeholder that is by default in the textfied?
