Author User Not being able to create post categories

  • I recently installed 3.0 on a new site and created a few users and the “Author” user can’t create categories for a blog post like they used to. Is that a bug fix or some error on my part with installing it.

  • Same problem here, can’t create new categories and I’m also having trouble accessing the visual editor, despite the correct setting. Everything was working fine with the previous version.
