• I am trying to create a new blank page in my website. So I went to the bottom of the page where it shows “Page Attributes” and when I clicked the “Template” drop down arrow, I thought I would find “Blank” but unfortunately it doesn’t exist. Can someone please explain how to create a blank page.

    Thank you
    Khalil

  • Your theme probably doesn’t have a “blank page” option. Looking at your site, your theme has been custom-developed, so there’s no way for anyone apart from the original company that did it to know what it does and doesn’t include.

You may be able to go back to them to find out, or another web development agency/person might be able to help (don’t ask for that on here… any offers or requests for work are frowned upon by the mods ?? ).

By default when you create a new page it would be a blank page.

Please check this tutorial – https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/pages/#creating-pages

The page templates offered by theme provides different layouts such as – two column, three column, canvas etc.

Thank you very much for your help.
Although I couldn’t understand all the information provided on the link, it was helpful.

I do have another issue and hope you can help me. When I go Settings>Reading, I find “A Static page” and underneath there are two headings:
Homepage and next to it there is “Home”
Posts page and I chose “Blog”.

When I go to the website and click on “Blog” I find the Home page. I would have thought that the posts should appear not the home page.

Would appreciate if you explain this weird behaviour.
