Visual / Text toggle does not work due to Yoast plugin error

    Hi, I have recently updated the Yoast SEO plugin to 17.8. After that the Visual / Text toggle button on the posts are disabled and I am getting below error in console.

    My wordpress version is 5.6.8, do I need to install any specific version of the Yoast SEO plugin.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I’m not quite sure why you would update to 17.8. Just today, we released 18.7, can you please check if updating to our latest version fixes the issue? Please do know that we only support the latest two major versions of WordPress versions. We recommend to keep everything up to date for a number of reasons (speed, security, feature wise, bugfixes, …)

    If after updating your WordPress, plugins & themes the issue persists, do let us know.
